Focused Care Visits

Sometimes you just need one thing addressed, quickly.

Focused Visits are short, targeted appointments for established Good Energy clients with a single, specific concern: a UTI, a yeast infection, BV, STI testing, or a quick review of lab or imaging results. No full workup required, just fast, straightforward care for something that can't wait.

What it's not for

When you'll need a different visit type

Focused Visits work best when there's one thing going on. If it turns out you have more than one concern, or a concern like pelvic pain that needs a fuller evaluation, we'll ask to reschedule you as a Problem Visit instead.

This isn't about turning you away. A 15-minute visit simply isn't enough time to properly evaluate something more complex, and we'd rather give it the time it actually needs than rush through it.

If you're not sure which visit type fits what you're experiencing, reach out before booking and we'll help you figure it out.

How we can help

What to expect

A Focused Visit typically includes a brief history of your symptoms, any needed testing (like a urine sample or vaginal swab), and treatment or next steps before you leave. If testing needs to be sent out, we'll follow up with results and a treatment plan as soon as they're back.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Can new clients book a Focused Visit?

Focused Visits are reserved for established Good Energy Women's Health clients. If this is your first visit with us, book a New Patient visit instead, we'll get a full history in place so future visits, including Focused Visits, can move quickly.

What counts as a "single concern" for a Focused Visit?

Something specific and self-contained, like classic UTI symptoms, signs of a yeast infection or BV, or a request for STI testing. If your symptoms sound like more than one issue, or something more complex like ongoing pelvic pain, we'll ask you to reschedule to a Problem GYN Visit so there's enough time to actually address it.

Do you treat UTIs or vaginal infections without an in-person visit?

In many cases, yes. If your symptoms are classic and there's no reason to suspect something more complex, we may be able to treat you virtually. We'll let you know if your symptoms require an in-person visit or if testing is needed first.

Can I get STI testing without a specific symptom?

Yes, as an established client. Routine STI testing is a common reason to book a Focused Visit, whether or not you're experiencing symptoms.

Is a Focused Visit the same as an urgent care visit?

Similar idea. It's built for something that needs quick attention, but it's still with your own provider at Good Energy, not a walk-in urgent care clinic, and it's available only to clients already established with our practice.

Quicker care for the thing that's actually bothering you.
