Cost of Care

How we work

Good Energy Women's Health is a cash-pay and membership gynecology practice. We don't bill insurance directly, which means we answer to you, not a productivity quota or a billing code. Your appointment is designed around what you actually need. We offer two ways to access care. You'll always know what your care costs before you arrive. You'll never see a bill six weeks later or get charged extra for raising real concerns at your annual.

Membership, or pay as you go
whichever fits your season of life.

If you're managing something that tends to need more frequent visits, like recurrent infections, perimenopause or menopause, PCOS, or fertility support, membership gives you that continuity built in. If you'd rather come in occasionally, à la carte pricing is available with no monthly commitment

Deciding between membership and à la carte? You don't have to figure it out before you arrive. If you choose to become a member at your first visit, your visit fee is converted to your first month of membership. You'll pay $100 instead of $300.

If you'd like them, professional-grade supplements are available to every client at a discount. Purchasing is always optional, and we never sell supplements directly out of our clinic.

A note on accessibility

We believe exceptional women's healthcare shouldn't be a luxury. We're currently developing discounted rate pathways for eligible members of our community and will publish details here as soon as they're available.

Due to state and federal regulations, we're unable to provide care to clients with Medicare or Medicaid coverage at this time. We know that's disappointing, and we hope it will change.

FAQ

Your questions, answered

Why don't you take insurance?

The insurance model wasn't built around improving your health. It was built around billing codes, productivity quotas, and reimbursement timelines. To offer something genuinely different: longer visits, real relationships, care that's actually personalized, we had to step outside that system entirely.

What is a Superbill and how do I use it?

A Superbill is an itemized receipt we provide after every visit. It includes your diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information. You submit it directly to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network care. Not all plans cover out-of-network visits and reimbursement amounts vary, but many clients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement. We provide it automatically so you always have the option.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at the time of payment for all visits and procedures.

Are labs included in my visit fee?

For membership clients, a comprehensive lab panel is included with your annual wellness or problem visit. For à la carte clients, labs are billed separately, either through your insurance or at provider-discounted self-pay rates. We'll walk you through your options at your visit.

Is the membership a contract?

Membership is an annual commitment at $100/month, and includes a membership agreement. If you have questions about the terms or want to discuss whether membership is the right fit before booking, we're happy to talk through it during your first visit.

Do procedures include pain management?

Yes. Nitrous oxide (N₂O) is included at no extra charge with every IUD insertion or removal and Nexplanon procedure at Good Energy Women's Health whether you are a member or à la carte. We believe pain management is part of the procedure, not an expensive add-on. For non-procedure visits where nitrous oxide is requested, a $50 add-on fee applies to cover the cost of supplies.

What if I can't afford care right now?

We hear you. We are actively working on discounted rate pathways for eligible community members and will share details as they become available. Additionally, for existing clients, our Focused Visits start at $75 for simple, non-complex issues like UTIs and vaginal infections, and our team is always happy to talk through options at your visit.
